                                                                           Kandy City                   Kandy is a beautiful and large city in Sri Lanka.  It is situated in the Central hills. It has a great history. There are many historical places in Kandy. The Temple of the sacred Tooth Relic, The Old Royal Places and four shrines dedicated to gods Vishnu, Paththini Natha & Katharagama are some of them.  Once a year the cultural pegeant Esala Perahera is held in Kandy.  There are many mountains in Kandy.  The Knuckles mountain range & Hanthana mountain range are some of them.  For these seasons it is a major tourist attraction.
